          JEANNINE KREINBRINK

Principle Investigator - Senior Archaeologist
 
 
    SUMMARY
Ms. Kreinbrink has worked in the cultural resources consulting business since 1987, and currently manages Natural & Ethical Environmental Solutions' Cultural Resources Services Section.  Her extensive cultural resources management experience includes project design and implementation of a variety of project types including large area projects, close coordination with Native American groups, and preparation of Agreement documents such as MOA's and Programmatic Agreements (PA).  Ms. Kreinbrink has attended a federal course on cultural resource management conducted by the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and
is thoroughly versed in the requirements of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA, 1966 as amended), especially Section 106 of  that Act (and its resulting regulations, 36 CFR 800) as it applies to cultural resources projects.  She has been certified as a Historian by the State of Ohio, meeting the Secretary of Interior Standards.  Other areas of expertise include cultural resource management, historical and prehistoric archaeological investigations, and historic research.  

Ms. Kreinbrink has successfully meshed a career in cultural resource management with conducting educational and public programs in archaeology, preservation, and history.  Currently she sits on the Board of the Kentucky Organization of Professional Archaeologists (KYOPA) and on the Advisory Committee for
the Kentucky Archaeological Survey.  She teaches as an adjunct Professor to the Anthropology and History Departments at Northern Kentucky University.

Over the last 19 years, she has designed and managed many public and educational programs with a variety of institutions, including the following: Northern Kentucky African-American Heritage Task Force, the Dinsmore House Foundation, Boone County, Kentucky, the  Cincinnati Museum of Natural History; a number of local/regional school districts, and especially with the Behringer-Crawford Museum, Covington, Kentucky.  Ms. Kreinbrink has served as Archaeologist Associate to the Behringer-Crawford Museum since 1981.  Relevant experience includes public presentations, public workshops, conducting artifact analysis workshops, grant writing, and preparation of National Register Nominations.
